Abstract:
To resolve a problem in a conventional air conditioner carrying out opening and closing operation by moving a front face grille wherein a protection mechanism for when a finger of a user is caught between a body and the front face grille is not provided, and harm is caused to a finger or the like of a person.
The air conditioner is provided with the front face grille forming a front face part, a shaft connected to an arm vertically moving the front face grille, a driving part having a driving source transmitting rotational torque to the shaft, and a clutch mechanism releasing rotary driving when there is a load of predetermined load torque in the driving part.
