Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve flash removal efficiency and to obtain a cast slab having good quality by controlling the rotational speed of a hammer or a relative position between the hammer and the cast slab with the component, temp. and shape of the cast slab.
CONSTITUTION: The rotational speed or hitting depth of the suitable hammer 1 corresponding to the condition of the cast slab, i.e., component, temp., size, etc., is set and by hitting with the hammer 1 attached to a rotor 13, the flash 41 at the lower part of the cast slab 30 is removed.
