A housing part 15 for housing a dry battery 10 available on the market is provided on a camera. A protrusion 12 protruded in button-shape is formed at the positive electrode 11 of this battery 10 and a bent recess 17S that contacts the corner 12E of the protrusion 12 is provided on the positive electrode terminal 16 of the housing part 15. When the dry battery 10 is housed in the housing part 15, the protrusion 12 and the bent recess 17S are energized in a direction mutually pressed each other while the protrusion 12 of the dry battery 10 is in contact with the bent recess 17S. Thereby, the contact area between the positive electrode 11 and the positive electrode terminal 16 of the housing part 15 increases and the positive electrode 11 and the positive electrode terminal 16 are not easily separated, even if an outside force such as impact is inflicted on the housing part 15 while the battery 10 is housed.
