To provide a method for manufacturing a lead accumulator with Faston terminals capable of solving disadvantages that, a primer treatment to increase bonding strength of walls is found failed in a battery case embedded with a bonding agent in a recess between the wall and its back side by melting down or coming off a primer painting painted in advance, and that sealability is greatly damaged between the battery case and its lid due to incomplete performance described above.

When carrying out the welding of the top end plate 6c of the Faston terminal 6 to the end group 4a of the plate group 4 contained inside a cell chamber 3 positioned on an end of the battery case 1, welding is carried out in a state where the separating distance D between the wall to be welded 1b applied with the primer process P and a vertical plate 6b of the Faston terminal 6 in the battery case 1 are made to be ≥0.8 mm.
