To provide a display item controlling device for an in-vehicle display device, improving operability by decreasing the number of operation buttons of a remote controller, and capable of being operated without a skill.
The display item controlling device for the in-vehicle information display device comprises a memory means 41 memorizing frequently used display items and sometimes used display items by giving group names; a remote controller 3 equipped with at least buttons 32, 33 for selecting the group memorized by the memory means displayed on a monitor and selecting the display item in the selected group, and an execution button 34 for deciding the selected group or the display item; and a display data processing means 42 transferring the selected display item to a display plate to display when the execution button is operated.
