To provide a manufacturing method of a sample for a fluorescent X-ray analysis capable of forming a uniform molded body of the sample of coarse and hard powder that is conventionally difficult to be produced as a measured sample, and to provide a pressurizing and molding fixture used for the production.
The manufacturing method of the sample for a fluorescent X-ray analysis comprises a process of supplying auxiliary powder for sample molding to a space surrounded by a mirror plane of one of two pressurization pieces 20a and 20b having the mirror plane and the inner peripheral surface of a first powder retaining ring 22, and forming a flat-layer-like substrate layer, a process of supplying sample powder to be analyzed to a space surrounded by the surface of the substrate layer and the inner peripheral surface of a second powder retaining ring 24 arranged inside the first powder retaining ring at a predetermined distance, and forming a flat-layer-like sample layer, and a process of simultaneously pressurizing and molding the flat-layer-like substrate layer, the flat-layer-like sample layer, and at least the entire second powder retaining ring with the mirror planes of the two pressurization pieces.
