Abstract:
To provide an improved strand-cut method capable of producing fine thermoplastic resin particles at high efficacy.
In the method for producing thermoplastic resin particles, a molten thermoplastic resin is extruded in air as strand 3 through a die 2 equipped in an exit of an extruder 1, and the strand 3 is immersed in water 4 containing a surfactant, and cooled by passing through the water 4 and cut into resin particles.
