Abstract:
A simple circuit arrangement reduces high frequency current and improves the input power factor in a direct current power supply apparatus having a three-phase input, a DC power supply control method, and a compressor drive apparatus using this direct current power supply apparatus. In a direct current power supply apparatus having a three-phase AC supply (1), reactors (2U, 2V 2W), a bridge rectifier circuit (3), an electrolytic capacitor (4), two-way switches (6U, 6V, 6W), capacitors (7U, 7V, 7W), a phase detection means (8) for detecting a specific phase of each phase voltage, and a two-way switch control means (9), and in a compressor drive apparatus using this direct current power supply apparatus, the two-way switches are turned on/off every half cycle of each phase voltage of the three-phase AC supply (1) to repeatedly and alternately charge and discharge the capacitors through the reactors, thereby reducing high frequency current components and improving the input power factor.
