Abstract:
To provide a nickel electrode for a secondary battery which has little fluctuation in capacity, output or the like, and is superior in output characteristics and has a long life with low cost, and which is capable of delivering a high output, in particular.
This nickel electrode for the secondary battery comprises an electrode substrate made of a punching metal having a numerical aperture of 20% or less in which a recess and a protrusion are formed by an embossing process. An active material is filled in the recessed part of the substrate and the protruded part of the substrate is in an exposed state or is adhered with the active material.
