Abstract:
To provide an image processing apparatus with a function to accurately discriminate an imaging posture of image.
An outline extraction circuit 113 extracts an object body area from image data and a plurality of width of the object area from a predetermined position. An analyzing circuit 114 discriminates upper and lower sides of the object by comparing width of outlines of the object area.
