To provide an exhaust gas treatment system for an ash melting furnace, which carries out rationalization by supplying exhaust gas of the ash melting furnace to a juxtaposed refuse incinerator and guiding the exhaust gas as incinerator exhaust gas to an exhaust gas treatment facility to carry out treatment.

In the exhaust gas treatment system, after carrying out purification treatment of exhaust gas from the refuse incinerator 1 and the juxtaposed ash melting furnace 8 via the exhaust gas treatment facility carrying out cooling/dust removal, the exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere from a chimney 7. The exhaust gas from the ash melting furnace 8 is supplied to the refuse incinerator 1 by a high temperature ventilation means 20 and re-burned, it is sent from the refuse incinerator 1 to the exhaust gas treatment facility 3, and after carrying out cooling/dust removal, and dry or wet type toxic gas treatment, it is sent into the chimney 7 by an induction ventilator 5 to be discharged into the atmosphere.
