Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information supply system which manages an IP address of an installation terminal-side in an integrated fashion and in which a user can speedily connect to an installation terminal.SOLUTION: The installation terminal-side includes: a first self-connection function determining a difference between an old IP address since an IP address of the installation terminal is newly given by the same provider and the newly given IP address and, when the addresses differ, capable of performing connection processing to a global IP address of a management computer-side by itself and giving a request to update the new IP address based on a self-installation terminal ID; and a second self-connection function connecting the global IP address of the management computer-side when the installation terminal is newly connected or reconnected to the Internet and capable of giving a request to registrate or update/registrate the IP address given at that time based on the self-installation terminal ID.
