Abstract:
Composite material made from a composition containing polyamide (PA10, PA11, PA6.10 or PA10.10), poly-lactic acid and possibly a compatibiliser. Composite material (I) obtained from a composition containing (a) 40-90 (preferably 50-70) wt.% polyamide selected from PA10, PA11, PA6.10 and PA10.10, (b) 10-60 (preferably 30-50) wt.% poly-lactic acid (PLA) and (c) 0-30 (preferably 5-15) wt.% compatibiliser(s). Independent claims are also included for (1) a method for the production of (I) by compounding a mixture of the above components, preferably in a twin-screw machine (2) objects obtained by using (I), especially molded, injection-molded, extruded or thermoformed objects .
