Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security of generation processing for an authentication image using a base image.SOLUTION: A holder authentication terminal 3 generates an authentication image using three pieces of key information: a base image set obtained by converting a plurality of orthogonal base images having mutually orthogonal vectors indicative of features of the image into a plurality of non-orthogonal base images which are not orthogonal to each other through a conversion matrix; index information for specifying a plurality of non-orthogonal base images used to generate the authentication image used to authenticate a holder from the base image set; and coefficient information on a new coefficient string found by specifying a plurality of orthogonal base images on the basis of the index information among the plurality of orthogonal base images to be converted through the conversion matrix, and multiplying, by a reverse matrix of the conversion matrix, a coefficient string of coefficients found corresponding to the plurality of orthogonal base images obtained by the internal product of the plurality of specified orthogonal base images and the authentication image.
