Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station device capable of improving a power-saving effect and a delay, and optimizing a sleep time.SOLUTION: A base station device radio communicating with a terminal device comprises: sleep control means for inhibiting the terminal device from transmission and shifting to a sleep state for a predetermined period if detecting a state under which a packet is not received from the terminal device continues beyond a period during which the terminal device waits for transmitting the packet in the case that a packet to be transmitted is not provided; storage means for storing a time at which the device is shifted to the sleep state and the number at which the packet is not transmitted to or received from the terminal device and the device is continuously shifted to the sleep state; and sleep time control means for updating a time at which the device is shifted to the sleep state according to the time at which the device is shifted to the sleep state and the number at which the device is shifted to the sleep state.
