Abstract:
There is provided a fiber-reinforced plastic joined body including a joined portion (BP1) at which fiber-reinforced resin shaped products are fixed, the fiber-reinforced resin shaped product containing carbon fibers and a thermoplastic resin as a matrix by an ultrasonic welding, wherein when a resin joined body having a joined portion (BP2) at which resin shaped products substantially constituted by the thermoplastic resin are fixed by the ultrasonic welding is regarded as a basis, (i) tensile shear strength at the joined portion (BP1) of the fiber-reinforced plastic joined body is in the range of 3 to 8 times larger than a tensile shear strength at the joined portion (BP2) of the resin joined body, and (ii) cross tensile strength at the joined portion (BP1) of the fiber-reinforced plastic joined body is in the range of 2 to 5 times larger than a cross tensile strength at the joined portion (BP2) of the resin joined body.
