Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can generate concealment pattern data by generating a plurality of character strings matched with types of personal information and arranging them by overlapping for concealing the personal information on a recording medium.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: input data acquisition means for accepting input of data including personal information and acquiring input data; personal information type discriminating means for discriminating a type of the personal information such as an address, a name or a telephone number from the acquired input data; means for generating a plurality of character strings, which generates the plurality of character strings belonging to the same type as the discriminated type of the personal information; concealment pattern data generating means for generating concealment pattern data where the plurality of generated character strings are combined and arranged by overlapping at least a part of them; and image forming means for printing and forming the generated concealment pattern data on a recording medium.
