Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of preventing a user from feeling discomfort when an engine output power increases and a continuously variable transmission is shifted down in response to an increase of an accelerator opening.SOLUTION: When a requested power is determined to be smaller than the present total control power, downshift control is performed at a first shift speed for canceling an inertia torque generated by downshifting the continuously variable transmission with a remaining power obtained by subtracting the requested power from the total output power of an engine and a motor. When the requested power is determined to be equal to or higher than the present total output power, downshift control is performed at a second shift speed which is a shift speed higher than the first shift speed and cancels the inertia torque generated by downshifting the continuously variable transmission with an output torque equal to or lower than a motor output torque.
