PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact electric vehicle which can be lifted up by a caregiver with less load, while enhancing supporting strength of a basket.SOLUTION: The compact electric vehicle includes: a vehicle frame 2 provided in a lower portion of the vehicle; a basket 13 provided in an upper front portion of the vehicle frame 2; a support member 27 fixed to the vehicle frame 2 and supporting the basket 13 from below; and a front lifting handle 37 fixed to the supporting member 27 below the basket 13.
