Abstract:
Preparing dialkyl carbonates from cyclic alkylene carbonate and alkyl alcohol in at least one transesterification column (K1), is claimed, where the transesterification column comprises at least one reaction zone and at least one reinforcement member, which is disposed above the reaction zone, and at least one subsequent distillation column (K2, K3) for purifying the dialkyl carbonate formed in the transesterification column, comprising at least one reinforcement member in the upper part of the column and at least one drive part in the lower part of the column. Preparing dialkyl carbonates from cyclic alkylene carbonate and alkyl alcohol in at least one transesterification column (K1), is claimed where: the transesterification column comprises at least one reaction zone and at least one reinforcement member, which is disposed above the reaction zone, and at least one subsequent distillation column (K2, K3) for purifying the dialkyl carbonate formed in the transesterification column, comprising at least one reinforcement member in the upper part of the column and at least one drive part in the lower part of the column; a technical device is used for heating the fluid flow in the transesterification column and/or for evaporating completely or partially, one of the transesterification supplying dialkyl carbonate containing alkylalcohol stream; the temperature of the medium for heating the column internal fluid flow and/or for evaporating the supplied dialkyl carbonate containing alkylalcohol stream is smaller than the temperature of the medium at which the bottom evaporator is operated; the energy of the medium for heating the column internal fluid flow and/or for evaporating the supplied dialkyl carbonate containing alkylalcohol stream is regained partially or completely in another chemical production process; and under the proviso that a liquid stream is heated in the transesterification column such that the technical device for heating the liquid flow is arranged above to one of the transesterification columns associated bottom evaporator.
