Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit information acquired inside a body to outside of the body with consideration of influence on human body and without increasing the device size.SOLUTION: A transmission unit 20 comprising a transmission power source 21 and a pair of transmission electrodes 22a and 22b is arranged inside a body. The transmission electrodes 22a and 22b are electrically connected with the transmission power source 21, are positioned across the transmission power source, and are covered entirely or partially with an insulating film 23. The transmission part 20 generates an electric field by acting like a dipole antenna utilizing surrounding biological tissue. A reception unit 40 receives the electric field generated by the transmission unit 20 and propagated inside the body and detects a reception signal voltage between a pair of reception electrodes 41a and 41b arranged on a body surface by acting like a loop antenna utilizing the biological tissue between the reception electrodes 41a and 41b together with the reception electrodes 41a, 41b and a wire 43 electrically connecting between the reception electrodes 41a and 41b.
