This non-contact electric power transmitting system is provided with: a power-receiving device (13) comprising a power-receiving pad (16) provided in a vehicle (10) and a power-reception control unit (15) which controls electric power received by the power-receiving pad; and a power-transmitting device (20) comprising a power-transmitting pad (21) provided in the path of the vehicle and a power-transmission control unit (22) which controls the electric power output to the power-transmitting pad for transmission. The power-receiving pad and the power-transmitting pad are made to face one another, and transmit electric power without contact. When electric power is being transmitted, the power-reception control unit effects control to drive fans (F, 11a, 11d and 11e) provided in the vehicle, and to cool the power-receiving pad and/or the power-transmitting pad using the flow of air generated by driving the fans.
