Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication state monitoring method of a motor-driven injection molding machine monitoring a communication state in communication between a master station and a slave station to catch a sign of communication abnormality.SOLUTION: A communication state monitoring method of a motor-driven injection molding machine monitors a communication state targeting a network where packets are mutually transmitted and received between a master station being a specified substrate (3) in the motor-driven injection molding machine and slave stations being a plurality of substrates (4a, 4b) connected to the master station to each other via a specified communication wire (6). Specifically, the master station, upon receiving a packet transmitted from the plurality of slave stations, detects packet abnormalities such as a packet loss or a bit abnormality for every slave station and calculates the ratio of the packet abnormalities to the packets received normally. When the ratio is less than a first threshold value, it is determined to be a normal state. When the ratio is larger than the first threshold value and less than a second threshold value, it is determined to be a quasi-normal state. When the ratio is larger than the second threshold value, it is determined to be an abnormal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
