Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate measurement by reducing variation of weight measurement of laundry.SOLUTION: Before starting a washing step or starting a dewatering step, a torque constant of a washing machine motor, a mechanical loss generated in a rotary mechanism including the washing machine motor and a rotation body rotated by the washing machine motor, and viscous resistance acting on the rotary mechanism are calculated every time and then the torque constant, the mechanical loss and the viscous resistance obtained thereby are used for calculating the weight of laundry.
