Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flooding of a lithium ion battery even if water is infiltrated from an exhaust port of a smoke exhaust duct that exhausts a gas generated within the lithium ion battery to the outside of a vehicle, in an on-vehicle battery device.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle battery device 100 comprises: a lithium ion battery 10 including a gas exhaust part 11; a battery pack 20 including a smoke exhaust flow passage 13 for collecting a gas exhausted from the gas exhaust part 11 and a casing 15 in which the lithium ion battery 10 and the smoke exhaust flow passage 13 are accommodated; a smoke exhaust duct 17 which is connected to the smoke exhaust flow passage 13 and exhausts the gas to the outside of a vehicle 40; and a drain hole 36 and a valve 30 that are provided in the smoke exhaust duct 17. While a gas is not generated, the valve 30 closes a clearance between the outside of the vehicle 40 and the battery pack 20. When a gas is generated, the valve opens the clearance between the battery pack 20 and the outside of the vehicle 40 and closes the drain hole 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
