Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner that is excellent in balance among low-temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage property, and environmental stability of the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic toner comprising a crystalline polyester that contains a constitutional unit derived from an alcohol component including 99 mass% or more of ethylene glycol and a constitutional unit derived from a carboxylic acid component including 99 mass% or more of sebacic acid, where the crystalline polyester has a number average molecular weight Mn of 4,500 or more and 7,000 or less, has components with a molecular weight of 500 or less of 2 mass% or less, components with a molecular weight of more than 500 and 1,000 or less of 2 mass% or more and 5 mass% or less, and components with a molecular weight of more than 1,000 and 5,000 or less of 10 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less, and has an acid value of 5 mgKOH/g or more and 20 mgKOH/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
