Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oligonucleotides capable of specifically capturing and detecting with a high sensitivity amplified influenza virus RNA and methods for detecting influenza virus RNA using the oligonucleotides.SOLUTION: A method for detecting influenza virus RNA in a sample of the invention comprises the steps of: amplifying a nucleic acid comprising a complementary sequence of a specified base sequence of influenza virus RNA using a first primer having a sequence complementary to a part of the specified base sequence and a second primer having a sequence homologous to a part of the specified base sequence; and hybridizing the amplified nucleic acid and a binding factor kit comprising a first binding factor labeled with a labeling substance and a second binding factor bound to a membrane to form a complex of the nucleic acid, the first binding factor and the second binding factor for detecting the nucleic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
