Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of bubbles in a simple and convenient manner when dispersing an electrode material, including an active material in water or solvent, and to provide a mixture for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode, which can suppress the biting of bubbles.SOLUTION: A mixture for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode comprises: an active material for an electrode; a conductive assistant; a binding agent; and a defoaming agent. The binding agent includes a copolymer of vinyl alcohol and an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid alkali metal neutralizer. The content of the defoaming agent is 0.001-1 mass% to a total mass of the active material for an electrode, the conductive assistant, the binding agent and the defoaming agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
