Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption especially while a vehicle remains stopped, without impairing the accuracy of estimating a battery state.SOLUTION: A BCIA 9 includes: a measurement command reception unit 91 for receiving a measurement command; a measurement unit 92 for measuring the V, I, T of a battery 5 in response to the measurement command; a memory 93 for storing a measurement result; a measurement cycle setting unit 94 for setting the measurement cycle of the measurement unit 92 to a cycle that corresponds to the measurement command; and a measurement result reply unit 95 for replying the measurement result to a CPU 8. The CPU 8 includes: a measurement during sleep command unit 81 for issuing a measurement during sleep command for requesting the BCIA 9 to do measurement in a first cycle during sleep, a measurement during travel command unit 82 for issuing a measurement during travel command for requesting the BCIA 9 to do measurement in a second cycle during travel after return from sleep, a measurement result acquisition unit 83 for acquiring a measurement result from the BCIA 9, a battery state estimation unit 84 for estimating a battery state on the basis of each of the acquired measurement results, and a measurement during travel command cancellation unit 85 for canceling the measurement during travel command before shifting to sleep.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
