Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera accessory that includes a light emission unit emitting notification light, and prevents environment light from an outside from intruding into an internal mechanism.SOLUTION: A camera accessory, which allows a mount mechanism to be mechanically and electrically mounted to a camera main body, comprises: a light emission unit that emits notification light for notifying users of a corresponding state of a function; a light emission control unit that controls light emission of the light emission unit; a printed substrate that has the light emission unit packaged, and electrically connects the light emission unit to the light emission control unit; and a prism that is made up of light transmissivity synthetic resin. In the prism, formed are: an incidence face that covers the light emission unit and is tightly adhered to the printed substrate; an emission face that is formed in an appearance member to cover an optical opening part, and is tightly adhered to the appearance member; and a reflection face that changes a direction of light to be radiated from the light emission unit in a direction parallel with an optical axis of light to be radiated therefrom, and a shading member of a light leakage prevention is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
