Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing occurrence of an irreversible defect in a solar cell due to local generation of heat, even if a part of a solar cell module is shadowed.SOLUTION: In a solar cell module having at least a solar cell unit where multiple solar cells are connected in series, the solar cell unit has a first power generation part 27 where multiple solar cells are connected in series, and a second power generation part 26 where multiple solar cells are connected in series. In the second power generation part, solar cells are connected in series in a direction substantially normal to the series connection direction of solar cells in the first power generation part, and an insulation part exists at at least a part of the boundary of first and second power generation parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
