Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for properly determining whether or not color conversion can be skipped in color matching, without excess or shortage.SOLUTION: It is determined whether the number of channels in a first color conversion profile matches with the number of channels in a second color conversion profile (first determination). It is determined whether color reproduction characteristic regulated by the first color conversion profile matches with color reproduction characteristic regulated by the second color conversion profile (second determination). When the numbers of the channels and the color reproduction characteristics respectively match in the first determination and the second determination, information indicating that color conversion can be skipped is outputted in stead of the first color conversion profile and the second color conversion profile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
