Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary damper capable of surely exhibiting a sufficient damper effect in a case of varying attenuation force.SOLUTION: A rotary damper includes: a magnetic case 7; a magnetic rotor 9 disposed in the case 7 in a relatively rotatable manner; a working fluid F that is stored in the case 7 and interposed between the case 7 and the rotor 9, and whose viscosity gets higher by making a magnetic flux loop M pass therethrough; an electric magnet 11 configured to generate the magnetic flux loop M; a first rotational shaft 33 drawn out from the rotor 9 to the outside of the case 7; and a planetary gear mechanism 5 interlockingly connected to the first rotational shaft 33 outside the case 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
