Abstract:
To provide a feeding device capable of preventing intrusion of a sheet into a roller pair when attaching a sheet storing part into a main body, by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A feeding device feeding a sheet to a device being a feeding destination comprises: a sheet storing part allowing drawing-out of the sheet from the feeding device; a loading unit loading the sheet; a conveying unit having a roller pair for conveying the sheet; a detector detecting a connected state and a separated state; and a control unit. The control unit, in a state of the sheet storing part being inserted into the feeding device, sets the sheet on the loading unit at a predetermined height when the detector detects the connected state, and lowers the loading unit to set the sheet on the loading unit at the predetermined height to a position lower than the predetermined height, according to the detection of the separated state changed from the connected state, by the detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
