Abstract:
To provide a folding method of a workpiece for suppressing the formation of a protrusion which is liable to be formed at an end edge of the workpiece at the folding of the workpiece, and a metal mold for processing the workpiece.SOLUTION: In a folding method of a plate-shaped workpiece, when folding the workpiece along a plurality of folding lines BL1, BL2 intersecting with each other at a notch 3 which is formed at the workpiece W, the workpiece is folded along the folding lines BL1, BL2 after forming recesses 15 with intersection positions as substantial centers within a range including the intersection positions CP1, CP2 of the folding lines being an inner face at the inside of a bend of the workpiece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
