Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transportation and curl correction operation of a recording paper, and adjustment operation of curl correction amount by one rotational drive unit so as to save space and reduce costs.SOLUTION: A curl correction device 5 comprises: curl correction rollers 53, 543 which are parallelly arranged in a pressure contact state and have different hardness; a correction amount adjustment unit 56 in which an eccentric cam 562 integrally rotating with a rotation axis 561 according to rotation amount thereof presses the roller 543 to change and adjust a distance between the roller 543 and the roller 53; a motor 57 which can rotate in normal and reverse directions; and clutch parts 52, 55 which transmit rotational drive power of the motor 57 to the roller 53 when rotating in the normal direction, and to the rotation axis 561 when rotating in the reverse direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
