Abstract:
Provided are a flat-member-feeding device with which it is possible to reduce power consumption and quickly supply a flat member, and a method for manufacturing the flat-member-feeding device. A method for attaching a motor 102 for rotating a downstream roll 111 to a flat-member-feeding device 101, the motor 102 being provided with a hollow and substantially cylindrical stator 107 and a hollow and substantially cylindrical rotor 104 that is disposed in the space within the stator 107, includes: a step for disposing a sleeve 105 so as to occupy part of the space inside the rotor 104, and mounting the sleeve 105 on the rotor 104 such that one end of the rotor 104 is supported by one end of the sleeve 105 and the other end of the rotor 104 is supported by the other end of the sleeve 105; and a step for mounting the sleeve 105 on a downstream roll shaft 113 to which the downstream roll 111 is fixed, and attaching the motor 102 to the flat-member-feeding device 101.
