Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap body for a folding type cap, which can be formed of a small number of components, which can secure rigidity in an expanded state for strongly protecting a human head part and which can be changed in a shape with a simple operation.SOLUTION: A cap body 10 for a folding type cap comprises: a cap body main body part 11 which can be formed into an expanded state and a flat state; and a lock mechanism 12 for making a state of the cap body main body part 11 a lock state in which the cap body main body part is held in the expanded state. The lock mechanism 12 has a support member 21 having a pair of leg parts 12b and 12c on an inner side part of the cap body main body part 11, an engagement part 28 is provided on a lower part side of each of side part support parts 22y and 22z, and an engaged part 20 is provided correspondingly to the engagement part 28 on the cap body main body part 11, and when the engagement part 28 and the engaged part 20 are engaged, the cap body main body part 11 becomes in the expanded state, and when engagement of the engagement part 28 and the engaged part 20 is released, the cap body main body part 11 becomes in the flat state from the expanded state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
