Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return to a preliminary firmware when an updated firmware is faulty.SOLUTION: A normal firmware downloads (S24) an updated firmware to activate a bootloader. The bootloader activates a normal firmware when FW determination information recorded in a storage indicates to be "faulty," and activates the updated firmware when the FW determination information does not indicate to be "faulty" (S17). The updated firmware determines whether or not the updated firmware itself is faulty, and when the updated firmware is determined to be faulty (S20, No), the FW determination information is updated (S21) such that the FW determination information indicates to be "faulty" to activate the bootloader.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
