Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is adaptable for a high-speed developing system, and excellent in development stability, low-temperature fixability, and hot offset resistance.SOLUTION: A toner includes toner particles each containing a polyester resin A, a polyester resin B, and an organic metal compound. The polyester resin A is an amorphous polyester resin obtained through polycondensation of an alcohol component containing 80 mol% or more of aromatic polyhydric alcohol and a polyvalent carboxylic acid component; the polyester resin B is a crystalline polyester resin obtained through polycondensation of an alcohol component containing 80 mol% or more of aliphatic diol having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, inclusive, and a carboxylic acid component containing 80 mol% or more of aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, inclusive; the organic metal compound is an organic zirconium compound produced through a reaction between zirconium and aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid, and the organic zirconium compound contains 1.2 to 1.8 mol of an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid unit with respect to 1 mol of a zirconium atom.SELECTED DRAWING: None
