Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing a rubber composition capable of achieving low loss property and wet gripping performance, and a tire with loss property and wet gripping performance. The method comprises kneading of a rubber composition, wherein: the rubber composition comprises: a rubber component (A) containing 20 mass% or more of a specific modified SBR; 20 to 120 parts of a filler (C) containing silica per 100 parts of the rubber component; a compound (D); a silane coupling agent (E); and a vulcanizing agent (F), and the kneading comprises: first kneading to knead (A), (C), a part or all of (D), and 2 parts or more of (E) per 100 parts of (A); and second kneading to, after the first kneading, knead a kneaded product prepared in the first kneading and (F). The tire uses a rubber composition obtained with the method for a tread rubber.
