Abstract:
To provide an emergency notification system using a portable communication terminal.SOLUTION: An emergency notification system using a terminal charging device for receiving an alarm signal from a sensor installed in a user's home and a portable communication terminal comprises: an emergency notification reception processing part for receiving an emergency notification from the portable communication terminal or the terminal charging device; a user information storage part for storing information related to a user; a user identification processing part for identifying the user of the emergency notification from the user information storage part on the basis of the emergency notification; and a responsible staff notification processing part for displaying information related to the identified user. The terminal charging device is configured to determine whether or not the user is at home on the basis of the propriety of short-range wireless communication with the portable communication terminal, and to, when receiving the alarm signal notified from the sensor, cause the portable communication terminal to perform the emergency notification when determining that the user is at home, and to perform the emergency notification by using a data communication device provided at the terminal charging device when determining that the user is not at home.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
