Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing cellulose nanofiber capable of efficiently producing cellulose nanofiber and a method for producing cellulose nanofiber.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a high pressure homogenizer comprising an opposed collision type high pressure homogenizer for performing pulverization of pulp slurry. The high pressure homogenizer includes a first flow passage for causing the pulp slurry to collide oppositely on a straight line, a second flow passage connected vertically to the first flow passage at the opposed collision portion of the first flow passage, and a third flow passage connected vertically to the second flow passage. The cross sectional area of the first flow path is T1, the cross sectional area of the second flow path is T2, and the cross sectional area of the third flow path is T3.
