Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a high risk portion of a heat transfer pipe provided on a boiler furnace wall, which is susceptible to overheat damage including a case resulting from a powder scale and the like.SOLUTION: In some embodiments, a prediction method of a high risk portion predicts a high-risk portion of a heat transfer pipe provided on a boiler furnace wall, which is susceptible to overheat damage, and comprises: a first temperature measuring step for measuring plural temperatures of different portions at an arbitrary time from among target portions on the outer surface of the boiler furnace wall for temperature measurement; a second temperature measuring step for measuring the plural temperatures of different portions after a lapse of a certain time starting from the arbitrary time; a threshold value setting step for calculating the difference in temperature of different portions between a first measured temperature obtained at the first temperature measuring step and a second measured temperature obtained at the second temperature measuring step, and setting a threshold value through statistical processing of the plurality of differences thus calculated; and a determination step for determining a high risk portion which temperature difference has deviated from the threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
