Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member joint method capable of securing long term reliability of joint of members.SOLUTION: After inserting a connector 1 into an attachment part 2d, the connector 1 is fixed to an enclosure 2 by means of screws 3, 4, 5, 6, and a leading end of a terminal 1a is placed at an upper part position (a) of an inside cylindrical part 2b in a state of being applied with stress. Thereafter, the leading end of the terminal 1a placed at the position (a) is heated while being applied with a pressure by resistance-welding, or the like. Consequently, the upper part of the inside cylindrical part 2b melts partially and the leading end of the terminal 1a is embedded in the inside cylindrical part 2b. Since the height of a juncture a' from a bottom 2c is substantially the same as a height from the bottom 2c to the center of an opening in an inner surface of an outer cylindrical part 1a, stress is not applied to the terminal 1a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
