Abstract:
To provide a technique that can reduce ink amounts to be used for suppressing ink from depositing while favorably suppressing the ink from depositing in an ink receiving part.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device comprises: a recording head that discharges first ink which deposits and second ink which suppresses the first ink from depositing; an ink receiving part that receives ink discharged from the recording head; and control means that performs discharging control by which the first ink and the second ink are discharged to the ink receiving part after and before recording operation. In the inkjet recording device, the control means performs the discharging control after the recording operation so that ink amounts which are discharged when discharge amounts of the first ink in the recording operation are more than a predetermined amount are smaller than ink amounts which are discharged when the discharge mounts are less than the predetermined amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
