Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording that is excellent in discharge stability and attains excellent print quality and high print density even in high-speed printing with a low resolution and a small amount of droplets to be discharged, which are required of commercial printing, and to provide an inkjet printing method using the aqueous ink.SOLUTION: The aqueous ink for inkjet recording contains (A) a pigment, (B) an organic solvent, (C) a surfactant and water. The surfactant (C) includes (C-1) a compound such as a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate or the like and (C-2) an acetylene glycol-based compound in which the content of the compound (C-1) in the ink is 0.50 to 3.0 mass%; the content of the compound (C-2) in the ink is 0.05 to 2.0 mass%; and the mass ratio [(the compound (C-1)/the compound (C-2)] is 0.4 to 10.
