Abstract:
To provide a fish-number counting device that can count the total fish-number of the fish in a fish preserve automatically with high accuracy, and provide a fish-number counting method.SOLUTION: A fish-number counting device includes: a multi-transceiving wave sonar configured so as to arrange multiple ultrasonic transducers and have multiple ultrasonic transmission and reception channels; a fish-number calculation unit 7a for finding the fish-number of the fish to pass a sound curtain formed of the multiple ultrasonic transducers of the multi-transceiving wave sonar per unit time; a swimming speed calculation unit 7b for finding a swimming speed of the fish; and a fish-number calculation unit 7c for calculating the total fish-number from the fish-number being found by the fish-number calculation unit and the swimming speed being found by the swimming speed calculation unit. The fish-number measurement device is characterized by performing the ghost removal processing for removing the ghost in the received signal of the multi-transceiving wave sonar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
