Abstract:
The invention provides a thermosensitive printing head and a manufacturing method thereof and enables a resistor layer to heat more uniformly. The thermosensitive printing head (A1) comprises: a support body (1) having a substrate (111), an electrode layer (3), and a resistor layer (4) including a plurality of heat generating portions arranged in the main scanning direction x and covering at leasta part of the electrode layer (3), wherein the resistor layer (4) is in the shape of a band extending in the main scanning direction x and has a pair of resistor sides 41 standing up with respect tothe direction in which the substrate 111 expands on both sides in the sub scanning direction y.
