Abstract:
A turbine engine assembly (10) is provided. The assembly includes a compressor (16), and an air duct (32) coupled in flow communication with the compressor (16). The air duct (32) is configured to channel a flow of bleed air from the compressor (16) therethrough. The assembly also includes a fluid supply system (34) coupled in flow communication with the air duct (32), wherein the fluid supply system (34) is configured to channel a flow of fluid towards the air duct (32) to modify a temperature of the bleed air based on an operating condition of the turbine engine assembly (10).
